Long time...no post!

Hope everyone had a great weekend...we talked about our weekend in group time this morning. We also had some new friends join us this morning. Morgan and Ella will be moving up from Jessy's class next month so they came over for a visit. Hunter and Iancu will also be joining our class next month from Jessy's class and they will visit with us this afternoon.

Sorry for the absence...as most of you know I have been in TN for a few days.

We have started our new theme on camping. Today we made a camping list from A to Z. We will post the list in the hallway...it was a good exercise for the children to think about the alphabet and the letter sounds. We also did tree rubbings as a special activity...we will also display those in the hall. We are going to read A Good Day by Kevin Henkes this afternoon.

I apologize that I haven't been posting our meals for the day. I know many of you like to know what they had so you don't have the same thing that night. Here is what was on our menu today:

Morning Snack: cheerios, bananas and milk
Lunch:chicken and rice, broccoli, peaches, bread and milk
Afternoon snack: graham crackers and apples

Tomorrow we will find twigs to make frames and letters.
