What's Happening?

Sorry it has been a couple of days! Lots going on with end of the semester deadlines and events!

We are having lots of fun with our bugs...I'll catch you up!
We have been exploring in bug "Goo" during choice time. Yesterday been went on a bug hunt in our classroom and found little bug treasures to carry home with us. Some of our ladybug larvae and pupa that we found in the field have turned into ladybugs!!!!! We also used alphabet stickers to make words and our names. We did bug stamps on Monday. Today if the rain doesn't get in the way we are going to plant some seed for a butterfly garden. We are planning do make some art with bug and flower stickers and we also have planned a science experiment to grow some insects.

Some books we have read are...The Very Lonely Firefly, The Very Quiet Cricket,The Grouchy Ladybug and we are looking at many more science books about bugs. We have also been looking at the life cycles of many bugs as well as the body parts of bugs.

As you can see we are staying very busy! Hopefully we can get some new pics up soon.
