School House Rock

We had a wonderful time at School House Rock!! Our walk was short and the weather was very nice!! We enjoyed the songs...I have even heard some of the children singing "conjunction junction" this afternoon! We were all such big kids...we sat quietly and followed all the rules!!!

We are still loving the bugs! The children having been exploring the insect book we put out in the science center and the play bugs. Yesterday we played insect charades and it was lots of fun, everyone got a turn and our favorite was the lightning bug because we used a flashlight.

Next week we have a bug hunt in the sand box planned, bug stickers (we didn't get them in this week), we have bug goo and we also have alphabet stickers we are going to use to encourage letter recognition and letter sound connections. We also have lots more planned!!!
